This website kicked off its mission by offering high quality workshops starting with December
21, 2012 by six dedicated facilitators: Maureen Higgins, MA , Tim Culbert, MD, Michele Rae,
MA, Henry Emmons, MD, Barbara Stahl, EdS and Kevin Harrington, PhD. Our goal was to raise
consciousness by helping participants recognize and gain tools to move into this unconditionally
loving, authentic way of Being.

Maureen Higgins
Maureen Higgins, MA
Maureen Higgins is an alternative counselor using clairvoyance (intuitive sight), energy work and guided imagery at her business “Wings of Freedom.“ Maureen works with individuals and groups to help let go of outdated memories, beliefs, patterns, and core issues so they can move into inner freedom, higher consciousness, and optimal success in what they‘ve come to accomplish in their personal lives and career choices.Maureen has her Master of Arts in Human Development with a focus on societal and religious belief systems, trauma and recovery, and alternative healing options. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has been certified in guided imagery from the Psychosynthesis Institute, Reiki, and Jin Shin Jyutsu (a meridian based energywork). She has also developed a number of healing processes to assist with specific purposes.
Timothy P Culbert, MD, FAAP
Timothy P Culbert, MD, FAAP
Dr. Tim Culbert currently serves as Medical Director for the Integrative Pediatrics Program at Ridgeview Medical Center in the Twin Cities. He is also a clinical faculty member the Center for Spirituality and Healing in the Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Culbert also provides holistic health consultations as part of the Shakopee Band of Medwakanton Sioux Wellness Clinic.He has authored 4 award-winning children’s books teaching holistic self-care skills to children and also served as lead editor for the academic textbook “Integrative Pediatrics” published by Oxford University Press in 2009.

Dr. Culbert currently serves on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Complementary and Integrative Medicine. Through his private company Healing Alchemy, LLC; he lectures, and publishes in the areas of biofeedback, mind/body skills, integrative medicine, holistic nurse training and self-regulation skills training as well as consulting to pediatric organizations interested in developing complementary/alternative services. He is currently developing healthcare related mobile apps, self-care kits for adults and a line of therapeutic toys through his private company.

Michele Rae
Michele Rae, M.A.
Michele Rae is the founder of The Center Within, LLC. She is a transformational coach, partnering with individuals, couples and organizations with a desire to maximize their potential and capacity in everyday living during this amazing time in human history. This transformative process includes building on her client’s gifts, talents, wisdom and passions as well as exposing and unblocking limiting beliefs, patterns and fears. Michele utilizes her abilities in deep listening, intuition, appreciative inquiry, spiritual practices, mind-body skills, presence and emotional intelligence to assist clients in realizing and developing self directed strategies to implement the changes they desire.Michele has a BS in pharmacy and MA in Human Development, and is trained in mind-body skills, Reiki, therapeutic touch, mindfulness based stress reduction, spiritual direction, and organizational and leadership development. In addition to the private coaching, Michele also teaches at the University of Minnesota in the Center for Spirituality and Healing, speaks locally and nationally, facilitates workshops and is a writer.
Henry Emmons
Henry Emmons, MD
Henry Emmons is a consultant to seven Twin Cities area college counseling centers and several other organizations, and is a popular workshop presenter. He is a past recipient of a Bush Medical Fellowship, which funded a sabbatical to study natural and mindfulness therapies in the practice of psychiatry. He has created adult education programs through the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing, including “A Year of Living Mindfully” and “The Inner Life of Healers: Programs of Renewal for Health Professionals”. Dr. Emmons developed the “Resilience Training Program” for the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. This unique program integrates nutrition, exercise and the psychology of mindfulness to improve outcomes in the treatment of depression.His essay “Insights on the Inner Life of Healers” was included in the book Living the Questions: Essays Inspired by the Work and Life of Parker J. Palmer (Jossey-Bass, 2005). His first book, The Chemistry of Joy: A Three Step Program for Overcoming Depression Through Western Science and Eastern Wisdom, was published by Simon and Schuster in January of 2006. His second book, The Chemistry of Calm: A Powerful, Drug-Free Plan to Quiet Your Fears and Overcome Your Anxiety was published in October, 2010. He has a new book, The Chemistry of Joy Workbook coming out in June 2012 by New Harbinger Press.
Barbara Stahl
Barbara Stahl, EdS
Barbara began You’ve Got Energy as a way to share energy and healing systems.  Barbara has studied and uses energy systems including Reiki, Triple Helix, Omega flower essences, for more than 20 years. She is certified as a master teacher in both Reiki and Triple Helix systems. Barbara applies her energy-based knowledge and skills to work with individuals and groups. She has advanced degrees in education with experience in teaching, and administration.She has worked for the past 35 years as a teacher, administrator, a public policy-maker and currently works in higher education.   Barbara has a worked successfully with adults and children, and recently has expanded her focus to enhancing the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has developed numerous healing systems used in her Skype, phone, and in-person sessions.
Kevin M. Harrington
Kevin M. Harrington,Ph.D.
Dr. Harrington is a licensed psychologist in private practice in the
Twin Cities. He works with children adolescents adults and families.
Dr. Harrington also provides consultation to various healthcare
agencies in the area. He has a mind, body heart approach when working
with individuals and families. Dr. Harrington works with people in
identifying and developing their internal resources to maintain and
strengthen their physical and mental and emotional balance.Dr. Harrington provides workshops locally, nationally and
internationally on my body heart skills. He obtained his PhD from the
University of Minnesota and his masters from the University of
Houston. Dr. Harrington is a former board member of Minnesota Society
of Clinical Hypnosis. He is very involved with teaching hypnosis to
health care providers.
