Love Your Back Kundalini Yoga & Mantra Sound Healing

Every class focuses on somatics-based body awareness combined with gentle Kundalini Yoga and Meditation practices to support healthy hips, spine and shoulders while calming and revitalizing your nervous system to support optimal health. Each week we will use the practice of a different mantra sound healing to affect changes in our mind/body relationship:

TYPICAL CLASS FORMAT: Somatic Movement Exploration warm-up for spine; Kundalini Yoga kriya; Mantra Meditation Sound Healing

When: Wednesdays, 5:15pm – October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18 & December 2, 9, 16.

Where: 90 MINUTE ONLINE CLASS USING ZOOM – ALL CLASSES WILL BE RECORDED and available online with pre-registration for one week. Class will be recorded each week and a link with password access will be sent out to all people who pre-register by 4pm the day of class.

Cost: $60 4-Week monthly package due first class of the month (October) $45 3-Week monthly package due first class of the month (November & December) $20 drop-in any class Zoom link will be sent via email upon registration Bring a Friend: 2 people attending class from the same computer $30 per class – Zoom meeting link will be sent via email to the person who registers (only one name required for registration).

The Alchemy of Conscious Breathing: Mind/Body Tools to Transform Your Life – 2 Day Workshop

Nuture your heart, ground into your body and understand how the way you breathe can transform your life. In this 2 day course you will learn how the science of conscious breathing creates different outcomes that we can choose to enhance our daily lives for more vitality, calmness and creativity.

After being introduced to the effects of different breathing techniques on the mind and physical body we will spend time each class being aware of subtle changes in our consciousness as we “try on” each technique.

Each person will leave this class having an understanding of how the way we breath (through nose, mouth, fast, slow, holding breath, etc.) affects both the mind and the nervous system as well as increasing your awareness of your own breathing habits. The class workbook contains a “toolbox” of breathing techniques to support conscious connection to mind/body/spirit and overall health.

Please dress comfortably. Yummy filtered water is available at the studio as well as many pillows, blankets and props to provide comfort.

Whether you sit for hours on end or stand on your feet all day, gentle Chi Flowing Chair Yoga will vitalize you with alignment-based movement and breathing you can do while seated or standing using a chair for support.

Mindful Movement is the key to maintaining a sense of balance and inner calm in your daily life. This class is beneficial for all ages and fitness levels and is particularly accessible for people who want the benefit of increased flexibility and joint mobility that comes from a yoga practice but are experiencing limited mobility due to injury, chronic illness or difficulty getting up/down from the floor.

Basic anatomy and body mechanics are explored as the foundation for moving, strengthening and aligning the body during daily activities such as bending and reaching to increase range of motion and reduce pain.

Each class is designed around the students who show up, honoring and supporting each individual’s level of flexibility and strength.

Cultivating Calm: Mind/Body Tools to Embody Serenity – 1 Day Workshop

In this workshop we will practice bringing awareness to how we can connect with our body to release anxiety, quiet our mind and cultivate a sense of calm:

• The importance of movement and breathing to release tension and relax the body

• Types of meditations that can quiet your mind

• Greet your inner voice and assess the 3 most common ways you are creating anxiety & stress in your life

• Practice body-mind awareness to release patterns of tension & implement your very own “relaxation & calmness thermostat”

We will also explore how crystals and flower essences/essential oils assist in calming the nervous system

EACH PERSON WILL RECEIVE AN AUDIO GUIDED IMAGERY TO CREATE CALMNESS

The Neutral Mind is the Key to Thriving in the Aquarian Age
and The Body is the Compass

Have you noticed? There is a different energy enveloping the planet. It’s official – we are fully “both feet into” the Age of Aquarius and there’s no turning back.

No more relying on outside influences to guide us. Now we are required to tune into our own internal compass based on balancing the ability to cultivate a “neutral mind” while deeply listening to the input from our physical body to provide guidance as to when to take loving action and when to pause in patience and self-care.

Every single person holds their own key to how this new earth Aquarian paradigm emerges and will contribute exactly what is needed – it is important to “tune-in” to yourself and consciously relax into the awareness of who you are and what gifts you have to share with the world at this time.

Join Catherine Siri Sat Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 to practice body awareness combined with Kundalini Yoga and Mantra practice to support the “new embodied human” and move fully into your heart-centered empowerment as a beacon of light anchoring the consciousness of love on the planet.
